We open on a montage of several of the greatest tag teams in wrestling history. The Hart Foundation. The Freebirds. Hardy Boys. Each one bringing some new innovation to the sport, each leaving an incalculable stamp on the history of tag team wrestling. The montage of course wraps up with a clip of the Road Warriors, perhaps the single most influential tag team in history. As they come on screen, and several clips of Road Warriors matches begin to play, Keith David, who apparently is the official voice of Legacy Pro now, speaks up.
Keith David: It is one thing to walk into that ring alone, to be a lone combatant fighting for survival and glory. It is another to be part of a team, a unit, a family. To fight in harmony, to rely on your partners ability and instincts. And those that master this art of fighting side by side go on to become legends.
We cut to footage of the four combatants in tonight’s blind tournament: the Bar, Dominik and Rey Mysterio, WALTER and Dashwood for the House of Deliverance, the Beaver Boys.
Keith David: Tonight, four teams strive to carve their names into one of those legends in a contest of wills, fortitude and ability. They may not know who they fighting against but they know what they are fighting for: the right to be called Champion.
With that we cut to our first view ever of the Legacy Pro Tag Team Championship belts.
Keith David: To the victor goes the glory. The spoils. The Legacy.
With that we hard cut to the inside of the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC, the intro pyro exploding and Atreyu blaring as we swing around the arena to see the various signs in the arena: “BREAK MY ARM RONDA”, “STEP UP TO THE BAR”, and “JUST SAY NO TO CULTS KAI” along many others. We finally cut to the commentary table with Stanford, Barret and Lita all beaming. Barrett actually has one of the tag team titles draped over his shoulder, holding it proudly.
Scott Stanford: The verdict is in, and everyone agrees: Legacy Pro isn't just Ignited, and it’s on fire! En fuego, baby!
Both Lita and Barrett wince at that.
Lita: Please don’t.
Wade Barrett: For once, Ms. Dumas and I are in agreement. Don’t...ever do that again.
Scott Stanford: Well the facts remain, we are back for another edition of Legacy Pro’s Ignited, and tonight? We crown our first champions. Tag champions, in a huge tag team tournament blind that Commissioner Punk announced last week. A huge opportunity for any of these teams to make their mark early in the history of Legacy Pro.
Wade Barrett: You can’t overestimate how huge. These belts right here, Stanford, will forever have the legacy of being the oldest titles in this company. And to walk out of DC with these beauts around your waist? It don’t get much better.
Lita: I personally am getting goosebumps just thinking about it. I can’t wait to get started!
Scott Stanford: Well I got it on good authority you won’t have to wait long, because the first blind match is starting...right now!
With that, the theme music for Igntied dies down and a famiiar theme strikes up.
The members of the Bar make their dramatic duel entrance, bringing their extended fists together to create the literal bar that they stand for. Both cry out before they start to storm their way down the ring. Behind them Tully Blanchard follows, several steps behind but grinning with pride and confidence.
Scott Stanford: Looks like we're going to be starting off with our first of two blind tag tournament matches.
Wade Barrett: For my money, we’re lookin’ at the favorite of the night. Two of the toughest fighters separately, but together? They’re nearly unstoppable. I know we got big names in this tournament, but for my money there is no team has been as consistently brutal.
Lita: And don’t forget the x-factor that is having Tully Blanchard in your corner. Ask Rhea Ripley about that.
Wade is quick with the gavel bangs tonight.
Wade Barrett: Objection! Are we still litigating this? Yes, she benefitted from having a legend as her manager. But that’s not a crime, is it? That’s not some great affront? If people like Dakota Kai have an issue with that, you know what they can do? GET THEIR OWN MANAGER.
Scott Stanford: Be that as it may, I believe the Bar have something to say before their opponents are revealed.
Cesaro and Sheamus indeed do have microphones in hand. They are chatting amongst each other before Cesaro finally brings his microphone up to his mouth.
Cesaro: Tonight is a special night. Not just because we are going to find out who the first Legacy Pro tag team champions will be.
Sheamus is quick to interrupt.
Sheamus: Namely, us.
Cesaro smirks and nods before continuing.
Cesaro: But we’ll also learn who is the single greatest tag team of all time.
Sheamus: Which, again, stands before you now.
Cesaro: Because tonight, we don’t know who we’re going up against. I mean, we have a short list of potential opponents. But we walked out here with no clue who exactly we needed to prep for. But here’s the brutal reality: whoever is down there, we’ve been preparing our entire lives. You, Sheamus and I? We aren’t your off the rack, run of the mill tag team. We’re two monsters of the mat, who can take whatever you might sling at us.
Sheamus takes over here, stepping in front of his partner.
Sheamus: My partner's is dead on, absolutely right. It hardly matters who we’re about to face, because no mattah who it is, they are soon gonna find out they are way outta their league. You are lookin’ at a deadly combination that there ain’t an easy answer to. You lookin’ at two blokes who don’t just love a good fight. We live for it. So whoever is back there right now shakin’ in their boots, realizin’ they are about to be beaten down by the two meanest mugs in this company, I can assure you they don’t have the goods to take down the best damn tag team in the world. And they’ll be in for a very unpleasant, very short round one.
With that, Sheamus and Cesaro both give up their microphones, taking to their corner and waiting for their opponent.
Lita: No shortage of confidence from the Bar. The only question remains, who will they be facing off with in this first round?
The arena falls into hushed anticipation, which is broken when the next theme pops.
A huge pop from the crowd as Rey and Dominik Mysterio emerge from the back, both soaking in the adoration of the crowd before making their way towards the ring, high-fiving fans on their way. Aaliyah and Angie Mysterio follow closely behind, seemingly a bit overwhelmed by the whole atmosphere.
Lita: The Mysterios are here at Legacy Pro, and what a way to debut!
Wade Barrett: By losing to the Bar?
Scott Stanford: That remains to be seen, Wade, one thing is for sure. This capacity crowd is amped to see the Mysterio Familia! Un fuego!
Wade Barrett: You have to stop…
Road Warriors Memorial Semi-Final
The Bar vs. the Mysterios
Referee: Charles Robinson
The Mysterios take to their corner, discussing strategy until finally Rey is the opening opponent against Cesaro, who approaches the lucha libre legend with a confident smirk. The two stare each other down until Cesaro disrespects him by pushing him away with a disrespectful shove. Rey responds with a shove of his own, which causes Cesaro to take a small half step. He returns the favor by pushing Mysterio hard, causing him to tumble backwards. Cesaro looks to Sheamus, calling out, “We got this,” but returning his attention to Rey Mysterio, only to be caught by a huge a jumping elbow, causing him to stumble back. Cesaro recovers quickly though, now pissed as he hits Mysterio with one of his patented European uppercuts. With Mysterio staggered, Cesaro tosses him into the ropes, but Rey jumps on the middle rope and hits Cesaro with a springboard crossbody for a cover!

2…
Barely a two-count and Cesaro kicks out. Rey Mysterio tries to keep him down, but a stiff knee to the gut stops that in its tracks as he’s forced in the corner by Cesaro, who delivers a series of heavy duty body blows, including more of those huge European uppercuts. He continues his beatdown until Charles Robinson finally breaks it up, pushing Cesaro back and giving him the business...giving Sheamus the space to begin choking out Rey in the corner.
Lita: Sneaky tactics from the Bar!
Wade Barrett: Sneaky, SMART tactics! And now you see exactly why Tully Blanchard wanted these two on his Horsemen!
Dominik and the rest of the Mysterio family finally alerts Robinson to the blatant cheating happening, which causes Sheamus to hold his hands up innocently. Robinson looks suspicious, but doesn’t call for the bell as Cesaro tags in his partner. Sheamus continues the beat down, throwing clothesline after clothesline in the corner, knocking Rey silly. He steps out, holding out his arms and screaming before sizing up for the brogue kick in the corner. He charges forward, but Rey gets enough awareness to duck out of the way and roll forward, lunging and trying to tag in his son!
Scott Stanford: Dominik is coming in like a house on fire! He’s--
Wade Barrett: Don’t.
Dominik drops Sheamus with a dropkick, then rams Cesaro off the ring apron. He is charged up and ready to go, when he gets Sheamus and throws him for not one, not two, but three rolling suplexes. Sheamus rolls to the outside, trying to consult with his partner and stop the momentum from getting out of control...but their conference is broken by both Dominik and Rey Mysterio diving through the ropes, driving them both into the barricade! The fans are going wild as the Mysterios share a giant high-five.
Lita: The Mysterios have turned the tide of this one, but they better be careful or they’re going to lose control.
Wade Barrett: You can’t give the Bar a moment to breathe and expect to get away with it.
Dominik rolls Sheamus back into the ring, but the Irish bruiser is quick to his feet and running against the opposite ropes. He attempts to knock Dominik down with a huge clothesline, but Dominik ducks and does a toe drop, causing Sheamus to fall across the middle rope.
Lita: Uh-oh! You know what that means!
Wade Barrett: It means Sheamus has to move his arse!
Dominik runs against the far rope to set up the 619, but as he approaches the rotation, Cesaro jumps onto the apron and launches into the ring to hit a massive spear to stop Dominick's momentum, driving the wind out of him! Cesaro immediately turns to get his partner up, but Rey Mysterio takes springboards off the tope rope to land a hurricarana on Cesaro, throwing him out of the ring. As Rey starts to turn around, he eats a gigantic brogue kick from Sheamus.
Shawn Stafford: It is absolute chaos! But now we are back with the two legal men in the ring.
Wade Barrett: And just one man on his feet.
Sheamus slowly approaches Dominik and drags him to his feet. He lifts Dominik above his head in the crucifix bomb position. Dominik gets a second wind and tries to wiggle free, but not fast enough as Sheamus hits the High Cross. He immediately goes for the pin. Rey tries to get back in to break up the pin, but is held back by Cesaro!

3!
Winner: The Bar via pinfall
Sheamus is quick to get off Dominik, giving him a firm kick before starting to pace around the ring and roll out share a fistbump with his partner. Soon Tully Blanchard is coming up behind them, beaming with pride as he pats them both on the back hard. “That’s it boys, one more to go. One more.”
Shawn Stafford: An impressive match from all involved, but the Bar proving why they call themselves the inevitable tag team champions.
Wade Barrett: Of course. And now, they get to sit back and just wait until the main event, so you know they’ll be ready for another fight.
Lita: And of course now we know our second first round match: the Beaver Boys against the acolytes of the House of Deliverance. Some cult on cult violence!
Wade Barrett: Wow, throwing the C-word around like that. Incredible.
Shawn Stafford: I think we can all agree that isn’t the C-word. Anyway, we are going to go to our colleague, Kayla Braxton, for a talk with some of the competitors in that match right now.
We cut to the backstage area where a smiling Kayla Braxton is looking into the camera, microphone in hand.
Kayla Braxton: Hello and welcome to the LegacyPro Media Center! Joining me at this time, one of the teams competing in tonight’s history making tag team tournament, the Beaver Boys!
John Silver and Alex Reynolds walk into frame, John Silver all energy as he’s bouncing side to side, and Alex looking slightly more buttoned up.
Kalya Braxton: John, Alex, you just found out that your first match of the evening will be again WALTER and Tenille Dashwood of the House of Deliverance. And whoever wins that match has a title shot waiting for them against the Bar at the end of the night. I guess the question is, how do you prepare for a night like this? And how do you feel now that you know you have WALTER and Dashwood to contend with?
John steps forward, looking genuinely confused by the question.
John Silver: How do we feel? How do we FEEL? We feel like we did coming into this match, like we are truly unstoppable! You see, I’m Number 1, and to be champion? You GOTTA be number one! That’s just facts! So tonight, we are going to beat anybody AND everybody. Both! So now we gotta beat some overstuffed German Turkey and his smokeshow partner? Done and done. And the Bar? The fucking Bar? You kidding me? This things in the bag! Tell ‘em, Alex!
John steps back to give Alex room to step forward. Reynolds steps forward and opens his mouth, but seems at a loss for what to say before he just shrugs.
Alex Reynolds: John really said it all.
Kayla Braxton: Well I had another question, namely that the leader of your cult--
John Silver: Hey! HEY! NOT A CULT!
Alex Reynolds: Kayla, if you are referring to the Dark Order, we aren’t a cult, we more of a movement.
Kayla Braxton: Okay, well the rumor is that the leader of your...movement is not here tonight? Is that true?
Alex Reynolds: I can confirm that John and I came here alone.
Kayla Braxton: Any idea why Brodie Lee wouldn’t have joined you?
Reynolds starts to answer before Silver jumps back in.
John Silver: Because he doesn’t need to be here, babysittin’ us! Because he knows he’s got his number one guys here to take care of business! And that’s what we’re gonna do! LET’S GO!
With that, Reynold and Silver wander off as we cut away.
We cut to another part of the backstage area, as Robert Roode is arriving at the arena, dressed in one of his trademark robes. Because if you could get away with just wearing sequin robes casually, wouldn’t you? He makes his way to a private locker room, signified by a star with the name MIZ written across it. He knocks on the door. No answer. He knocks again. No answer. Roode starts to screw up his face and knocks harder.
Robert Roode: Hey Miz, you in there? Miz? C’mon Mike, open up, I just got here.
He is about to knock even hard when the door suddenly opens up, the Miz darting his head out and looking up and down the hallway.
The Miz: Hey man, did anyone see you?
Robert Roode: Did they see me? Did who see me? What are you talking about.
Miz: Yeah man, I’m dodging the ‘ratzis. They know I’m here, and you know they wanna get snapshot of me.
Robert Roode: Miz, I don’t think.
Miz: Oh damn, there they are! Quick, get in!
Miz yanks Roode into his dressing room and indeed a horde of photographers rush past Miz’s dressing room. Distinctly PAST his dressing room. As in, they aren’t looking for him. A moment or two pass before Roode and Miz finally peek their head out the door again.
Robert Roode: Miz, I don’t think they are here for you.
The Miz: Uh, of course they’re here for me, do you see any other movie stars around here?
The pair make their way out of Miz’s dressing room to make their way down the hallway, only to discover who the photographers were actually after. “Kana! Kana, over here! Shida, over here, Shida!” Yes, the photographers have gathered around international sensation, Thunder Tail. Making their debut later tonight. The camera then pans back towards Miz and Robert Roode. Miz looks conflicted, both frustrated that he’s not the object of affection...but a little relieved? Roode tips it when he speaks up.
Robert Roode: Guess you aren’t the biggest star after all?
Miz gives him a dirty glare before storming off. Roode watches Miz go off, then glances back towards the photoshoot. He shrugs and saunters over as we cut away.
Alexa Bliss and Taya Valkyrie vs. Dakota Kai and Nia Jax
Referee: Rick Knox
The ref calls for the bell to start this star-studded tag team match but it seems both sides are a bit confused as to who is going to start this one. Alexa Bliss turns to her partner to game-plan who should start but Taya completely ignores her, seemingly deciding for the both of them when she steps out onto the apron and immediately turns to jaw-jack with some fans in the front row. Alexa, looking a little confused, turns to see Dakota Kai and Nia Jax aren't fairing much better in their corner.
Across the ring it looks like Nia Jax is trying to find some common ground with her partner for tonight but Dakota Kai isn't interested, instead pointing across the ring at Alexa and demanding Nia start things off. The larger Jax has no problem with that but gives Dakota a slight sneer as she turns towards Bliss and Kai steps out onto the apron.
LITA: Definitely a couple of odd pairings here.
SCOTT STANFORD: Well Commissioner Punk said tonight's Ignited was going to show-case the tag team match. He didn't say anything about the partners having to get along.
WADE BARRETT: The biggest question here is if these women can reach the end of the match without attacking their partners!
The petite Alexa Bliss steps to the middle of the ring and immediately gets overshadowed by Nia Jax's opposing figure.
SCOTT STANFORD: The size difference between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax is massive!
WADE BARRETT: I thought we had a right David and Goliath situation on our hands when Ronda Rousey battled Himeka Arita on the last Ignited but this is even better!
LITA: My entire career I've gone by the simple mantra of 'The bigger they are, the harder they fall.'
Though it seems Alexa may have some trouble getting Nia Jax to fall as the Irresistible Force lunges forward in an attempt to snatch Alexa up but the faster Bliss dodges her grasp, ducking under it and sliding behind Jax. Alexa instinctively wraps her arms around Nia's waist and attempts to lift her off her feet but she doesn't even budge Jax. Nia winds up and unleashes a bag elbow at Bliss, but Alexa once again ducks and leaves Nia elbowing nothing but air. She twists back towards her corner as Alexa rolls her neck. Dakota Kai has seen enough and slaps Jax on the back, tagging herself in.
SCOTT STANFORD: It seems the former captain of Team Kick wants in this match now.
WADE BARRETT: Well she's seen that big oaf Jax isn't getting anywhere!
Kai swipes a thumb across her nose as Jax begrudgingly moves out to the apron. Bliss and Kai circle each other a little before locking up in the middle of the ring. Kai quickly gets the upper hand, twisting Alexa's arm and wrenching it before giving it a couple of good jerks. Alexa screams out in pain as she drops to her knees.
SCOTT STANFORD: Dakota Kai wasting no time in targeting that injured arm of Alexa Bliss.
LITA: That's right, Scott. Let's not forget last week Ronda Rousey did a number on Little Miss Bliss, and she's clearly still suffering from the effects of that attack.
WADE BARRETT: That's clear by the Kinesio tape wrapped around Bliss' elbow and upper arm. We are also bearing witness to this new, more ruthless side Dakota Kai has promised since she arrived here in LegacyPro.
LITA: That tape isn't helping Bliss now though!
It clearly isn't as Kai has Bliss' wrist under her arm, twisting Alexa's entire arm and causing her to howl in pain. Taya Valkyrie doesn't seem too bothered by her partner's predicament though, as she leans on the top turnbuckle and watches the action disinterested. Suddenly Alexa rolls forward, sweeping her leg and taking Dakota's feet out from under her. Taking advantage of the opportunity Alexa goes for the cover.
1...
Kai immediately gets a shoulder up but Bliss quickly responds with an elbow to the face and a knee to the ribs. Kai is reeling a bit, giving Bliss time to get to her feet and catch her breath. Just as Dakota gets to one knee Alexa Bliss shoots off the ropes and connects with a basement dropkick to the face of Kai, knocking her back to the mat. Alexa doesn't waste any time, shooting back across the ring and coming back with a double knee stomp! But Dakota rolls out of the way just in time! Bliss' knees hit mat hard as Kai continues to roll through, right under the bottom rope and out of the ring. The fans book while Kai paces, mouthing off a bit. Bliss takes the chance to recover and get to her feet, heading to her own corner for the first time tonight and tagging in her partner Taya Valkyrie, who doesn't seem too pleased at the idea. Regardless of her displeasure, Taya does get in the ring, just in time to get steam-rolled by Nia Jax! It seems as she was expressing her dismay at having to enter the match Kai slid back in the ring and tagged in her own partner. Bliss, now on the apron, looks at the downed Taya before shrugging.
SCOTT STANFORD: Well it's clear these ladies couldn't care less about their partners.
LITA: While that may be true I guarantee getting that Win is still the main goal of all four of those women.
Jax drags Taya to the middle of the ring and covers.
1.....
2...
Taya kicks out. Nia gets to her knees with a smirk before continuing up to her feet, grabbing Taya's hair and bringing her up as well. But Taya bursts from Jax's grasp, peppering the giant with rights and lefts before coming out of nowhere with a spin kick to Jax's jaw, knocking the Rock's cousin back a few steps. Taya doesn't miss a beat and darts across the ring, hitting the ropes and coming back just in time for a Nia Jax big boot! But Taya ducks it! She bounces off the opposite ropes and comes back with a basement dropkick to Nia's other leg, knocking the big woman down! Taya quickly goes for the cover.
1..
It barely takes the whole second for Nia Jax to easily kick out and toss Taya off of her. As Nia gets to her feet she lunges for Taya, but Valkyrie dodges and sprints off the ropes again. This time Nia Jax is there to meet her though uses Taya's own momentum to lift Valkyrie up onto her shoulders and drop her with a vicious Samoan Drop! She lies back onto Taya.
1...
2....
NO!
Alexa Bliss breaks up the count! The ref is quick to force Little Miss Bliss back onto the apron as Nia gets up slowly, glaring at Bliss before looking back down at the groaning Valkyrie. Jax walks over to her corner and slaps Kai's shoulder, putting a little mustard on it, before telling her to 'Finish this!' Kai sneers at Nia and scoffs, clearly not pleased with the larger woman barking orders at her. She gives her partner one last glare before rushing at the downed Taya and mimicking Bliss from earlier with the double foot stomp. This time it connects, though! Taya rolls around in agony before Kai pulls her back, going for the cover.
1....
2....
She kicks out! Kai looks annoyed before getting to her feet, grabbing Taya and dragging her up as well. Dakota gives Bliss a cocky smirk before hoisting Valkyrie up onto her shoulders.
LITA: She's looking for the Go to Kick!
WADE BARRETT: If she hits that this may be over!
After a beat though Taya wiggles through and falls behind Kai, not wasting a minute as she drives her forward into the corner. Taya quickly tags in Alexa before Kai rears back with a hard elbow, Valkyrie falling to the mat before rolling out of the ring. Before Kai can leave the corner fully though Alexa Bliss, the now legal participant, reaches over the top ropes and snatches a handful of Kai's hair, yanking back and forcing Kai to fall back onto the mat hard. Bliss shoots into the ring, giving a couple stomps to Kai as she does. Bliss reaches down and drags Kai to the corner, leaving her there in a seated position. Little Miss Bliss stalks towards Nia Jax's corner before turning and running in with a double knee to Dakota Kai's face! Kai slumps to the mat and Alexa drops down, rolling her through and going for the cover.
1.....
2....
Dakota Kai just kicks out! Nia Jax is halfway in the ring as well but retreats back to the apron, roaring for her partner to battle through. Alexa lets out a huff at her failed pin attempt before pulling Kai to her feet. But Dakota Kai powers through and snatches Alexa's bad arm, wrenching it quickly and forcing the smaller Bliss to let her go. At this point Valkyrie attempts to get into the ring, drawing the attention of the ref. Kai snaps Bliss' arm again, forcing her back to her knees before dashing across the ring and tagging in Jax! But before Nia can advance on Alexa Bliss the ref gets in her way, forcing her back out onto the apron! The fans in the Capital One Arena roar with disapproval as Jax argues with the ref.
SCOTT STANFORD: Taya was distracting the ref so the tag was never seen!
LITA: Listen, Taya knew exactly what she was doing.
As Jax is forced out onto the apron Bliss takes advantage of the fading Kai, running at her and surprising her with a clothesline. Little Miss Bliss snatches Kai's arm and drags her back to her corner, tagging in Valkyrie. As Valkyrie steps into the ring though Dakota Kai goes for a half-hearted swing. Taya easily dodges the swing, pushing Kai forward before latching her arms around her waist and dropping her on her neck with a release German suplex! Taya goes for the cover.
1....
2....
The ref notices Kai's boot under the bottom rope and waves off the pin. A frustrated Taya hooks Kai's leg, making sure it's far from the ropes.
1....
2....
Kai kicks out! Taya shoots to her feet with a roar of anger. She screams out 'That's it!' before getting to her feet, reaching down and dragging Kai to her feet as well. Taya brings Kai to the middle of the ring and positions herself behind her, giving Nia Jax a little smirk before hooking Kai's arms.
WADE BARRETT: Road to Valhalla!
But as soon as Taya lifts Kai the determined Dakota somehow twists her hips and hits Taya directly in the face with a stiff knee! Valkyrie falls back to the mat and drops Kai right in the middle of the ring. The fans in the Capital One Arena get to their feet as Dakota Kai uses her last bit of strength and leaps towards her corner, tagging the outstretched hand of Jax just as Taya gets to her feet! The arena roars as Jax shoots across the ring, leveling Taya Valkyrie where she stands.
Jax doesn't stop there though, reaching over and snatching Alexa Bliss by the hair, whipping her over the top rope and letting her fall to the mat! Jax stands over Bliss and looks around confidently before dropping down, bringing her massive leg down across Bliss' chest!
LITA: Bliss may be broken in half after that leg drop!
She rolls out of the ring as Jax turns... right into a dashing Taya Valkyrie! But Jax is ready and scoops Taya back onto her shoulders, dropping her with a ring-shaking Samoan drop! Nia turns and hooks Taya's leg for the cover.
1...
2...
3!
The bell rings as Jax gets to her feet, letting the ref raise her hand. Dakota Kai stumbles to the middle of the ring and raises her arms in the air as well, demanding the ref raise her arm again.
SCOTT STANFORD: A hard fought win here for Nia Jax and Dakota Kai. You know, even though these teams both started on the wrong sides of the tracks of each other they both had their moments during that match.
LITA: Yeah, Scott, you're not kidding. For a minute there Alexa Bliss and Taya Valkyrie seemed like a well oiled team.
WADE BARRETT: That went away though when that Goliath of a beast Nia Jax got her hands on them!
We cut backstage to see Tully Blanchard pacing back and forth and rubbing his hands together while the rest of the horsemen sit around. He is beaming with pride and practically licking his chops with excitement.
Tully Blanchard: Alright boys…
Rhea Ripley ahems loudly.
Tully Blanchard: Boys AND Rhea, we are off to a great start. But we can’t let up now. The Bar still don’t know who they’re facing in the finals, but quite frankly? I think we all agree, it doesn’t actually matter. Because we already beat the legend Rey Mysterio and his son, and we can take either of the teams coming up. Isn’t that right, boys?
The Bar simply nod and share a fist pound with each other. Blanchard nods and then turns his attention to Spears, who is leaning against the wall with a bit of a sour look on his face. Blanchard shakes his head and gives him a motivating slap in the face.
Tully Blanchard: Hey, what’s with the long face?
Shawn Spears: Oh nothing major, just that I’m the leader of this group and I’m the only one without a win.
All the other members of the New Horsemen perk up at that.
Cesaro: Leader?
Sheamus: According tuh who?
Rhea Ripley: I don' recall votin' on that.
Tully scowls and looks at the rest of them and thumbs towards himself.
Tully Blanchard: Hey, don’t get bent out of shape. There’s only one leader of this team, and you’re looking at ‘im. Spears may have been first, but we are a unit. A unit with a mission to win every piece of hardware this company has. That mission starts tonight, but we are far from done. Rhea, we going to do whatever it takes to get you in that ladder match at Fight Forever for the Legacy Pro World Title. And Shawn’s gonna get himself back on track with a win tonight. Ain’t that right?
There is a slight threat in Blanchard’s tone, but Spears simply nods, eliciting a grin from Tully.
Tully Blanchard: Perfect. Don’t let me down
There is a knowing weight to that statement, as we cut away.
The often confident Silver does seem to be overwhelmed with how to approach the massive WALTER, circling around each other before finally lunging forward, attempting to down him with a belly-to-belly suplex! That doesn’t go well, barely able to get WALTER off his feet, and the recipient of a double-axe handle across his back, forcing him to the ground. Silver grabs at his back, but WALETER gives him no room as he hits a HUGE German Suplex, sending him flying across the ring. WALTER quickly gets on top of silver and slaps him into a boston crab, stretching out his back! Silver scrambles, trying to find the rope, but facing in the opposite direction from where he needs to be, and WALTER wrenches down hard into the submission hold.

The bell rings as Jax gets to her feet, letting the ref raise her hand. Dakota Kai stumbles to the middle of the ring and raises her arms in the air as well, demanding the ref raise her arm again.
WINNERS: Nia Jax & Dakota Kai
SCOTT STANFORD: A hard fought win here for Nia Jax and Dakota Kai. You know, even though these teams both started on the wrong sides of the tracks of each other they both had their moments during that match.

We cut to Kayla Braxton, standing by Nia Jax and Dakota Kai, looking generally if low-key pleased with their victory.
Kayla Braxton: Fans, I am standing by with two winners from our tag team special show tonight, the unusual pairing of Dakota Kai and Nia Jax. Now I know there was some tension between the two of you over some comments made leading up to the match.
Dakota is quick to shake her head as she answers that first.
Dakota Kai: Watuh under the bridge, Kayla, honestly. Nia and I made up, we got our priorities straight and we both notched our first Leg Pro victories. Simple as that.
Nia makes a bit of a face as she steps forward to respond to that.
Nia Jax: I mean I don’t think you every actually…really apologized to me about those hurtful things you said.
Kai slowly looks at Jax and raises a brow.
Dakota Kai: Apologize? Look, I just said what is plainly true for everyone to see.
Nia Jax: Oh, so it’s fine to just call some a fat ass now?
Dakota Kai: Well if they got a fat ass!
Nia rushes at Kai and shoves her to the ground hard. By the time Kai has gotten up, Jax is already walking away. Kai considers but decides it’s not worth it, glaring and breathing heavily. As she does, a familiar face walks up behind her.
Seth Rollins: See...even when you are asked to team up...and it works out? You self-destruct. Every time. It’s that pride in your heart. It is holding you back. But if you just let it go--
Kai turns and gets very close to Rollin’s face.
Dakota Kai: Now ain’ a good time, preachah. REALLY not ag ood time. So go on back to your sheep.
She glares for a moment more before storming off, leaving behind Rollins, who simply breaks into a small, satisfied grin. He chuckles and walks away, rubbing his hands together as we cut to ringside.
The Beaver Boys start with John Silver (mostly due to him screaming “I’m number one! I’m number one!” over and over again) and Tenille Dashwood, who circle each other for several seconds before hooking up into a test of strength. Dashwood eventually gets the upper hand, and rolls Silver into a headlock. Silver struggles to get out, but eventually resorts to tossing her off the ropes. Tenille runs across the ring, only to be knocked down by a shoulder block from Silver. But Tenille immediately kips up and smacks Silver with a hard slap! Silver is stunned, but attempts to throw an elbow, before he has his feet taken out from underneath him with a basement dropkick! As he tries to rise back up, he takes a final strike as he eats a knee to the face before Dashwood goes for the pin.
1…
2…
Barely a two-count, as Silver kicks out.
Scott Stanford: Tenille Dashwood is looking sharp out here! This House of Deliverance is a sharply trained team!
Wade Barrett: Would you expect any less? Seth Rollins hand-picked these disciples, and he knows excellence when he sees it.
Dashwood picks up Silver and attempts to whip him into her corner. But at the last minute, Silver reverses it and tosses Tenille into his corner. He rushes into the corner, crashing into her mid-section before he starts his own flurry of blows, a series of swift kicks to her midsection. Silver tags in his partner and sets up Dashwood for a powerbomb. Once Reynolds is in the right spot, Silver tosses Dashwood towards Reynolds who drops into a backcracker! Reynolds goes for the cover while Silver stares down WALTER.
1…
2…
Dashwood kicks out, but Reynolds immediately attempts to ground her by slapping her into as sleeper hold, using his size advantage to try to ground her. She’s still able to roll however, and edges her way towards the ropes until she is able to hook a single leg on the ropes. Reynolds releases his hold, push back by referee Robinson to make sure that she has room to get up. As soon as she is on her feet however, he attempts to down her with a superkick! She catches however, using the momentum to tweek his ankle hard, causing Reynolds to drop and grab his foot. Tenille is quick to tag out to WALTER, while Reynolds is forced to tag out to Silver.
Wade Barrett: Two powerhouses squaring off!
Lita: I don’t think...that’s exactly what’s going on here.
Wade Barrett: Nonsense, two titans squaring off!
Lita: WALTER’s got a FOOT on him, Wade!
Lita: He has to submit! WALTER is gonna break his back if he doesn’t.
Scott Stanford: Or unless his partner has something to say about it.
Indeed, Reynolds scrambles into the ring, sizes up WALTER and knocks him silly with a superkick! It breaks the submission hold. Referee Robinson forces Reynolds back to his corner, while Silver crawls towards him, all while WALTER works to collect his senses. He eventually gets to a vertical base, but just in time for Reynolds to get tagged in. He jumps into the ring and at WALTER, ducking a huge lariat, twisting around and nailing WALTER with his cutter, From Reynolds With Love! Pin!
1…
2…
Dashwood breaks up the pin at the last possible moment! Reynolds can’t believe it, nearly pulling out his hair in frustration. He knows that was likely his best opportunity for putting this one away. He walks to the corner, crouching down and waiting...waiting...until he sees WALTER start to rise. He raises forward for another cutter, but WALTER sees it coming and traps him in the Gojira Clutch. Dashwood watches out for Silver, daring him to come at her, but it’s mostly academic as Reynolds taps fairly quickly once in the clutches.
WINNER: House of Deliverance via Submission
WALTER lets go of the submission hold, his hand held high along with Dashwood as Silver and Reynolds roll out of the ring. The pair share a knowing glance and start to head back, not making for big theatrics. The time for celebrating isn’t here. Not yet.
Scott Stanford: And there you have it, two semi-finals down one more to go. The Bar, House of Deliverance, for the gold. Don’t go anywhere folks, you do NOT want to miss this one.
We cut backstage to see Seth Rollins rubbing his hand together as he sees his followers notch up a win, getting themselves into the final for the tag team titles. He looks to his left to see an approaching Shawn Spears, accompanied by Tully Blanchard as always.
Seth Rollins: Well well well, if isn’t my partner for tonight. How are you, Brother Spears?
Shawn Spears: I ain’t your brother. Congrats to your team for making it to the finals.
Seth Rollins: And to yours. You know, it’s almost poetic. Our friends face off for the belts, but we ride into battle as comrades.
Shawn Spears: Yeah. Downright Shakespearean. Just try to not screw it up.
Rollins rolls his tongue in his bottom lip.
Seth Rollins: Now that’s funny.
Shawn Spears: What’s funny?
Seth Rollins: I was about to say the same thing. See you out there, pardner.
With that, Rollins walks off, leaving a sneering Spears.
Miz and Robert Roode vs. Seth Rollins and Shawn Spears
Referee: Rick Knox
The match opens with Shawn Spears and Robert Roode circling each other, neither one wanting to make the first move. Eventually the come together for a quick tie-up, which ends with Spears throwing his knee into Roode’s mid-section, leading to a snap suplex. Spears sets up Roode into a sitting position and jams his elbow sharply into his joints, again and again, eventually pulling Roode back up to his feet and forcing him into his corner. He climbs the turnbuckle and starts raining shots down, getting the full ten in (with the crowd chanting “10!” with each hit.) After the tenth hit, he jumps down, tagging Rollins in. Rollins in turn throws huge knife-edge chops, then starts to back-up. Rollins charges forward, hitting Roode with a stinger splash, then pushing him to the ground and following up with a few hard stomps to the abdomen.
Scott Stanford: They might be an uneasy alliance, but right now Rollins and Spears are looking pretty dominant.
Lita: There’s no question that Roode needs to get out of there something fierce.
Rollins stomps a few more times on Roode before tagging in his partner to keep things fresh. But the time it took to switch out was enough for Roode to recover, throwing heavy right fists into Spears’ face, one after another after another. He tosses Spears across the ropes, giving Roode the opportunity to land a huge spinning spinebuster! But his burst of energy dies, forcing him to crawl back for a tag, getting Miz in but Miz having to deal with a fresh Rollins. The pair trade blows, but eventually Miz is able get the upper hand, kneeing Rollins and dropping him with a snap DDT, which leads to Miz rolling him over for the pin.
1…
2…
Rollins kicks, but Miz isn’t letting up. He lifts up Rollins to his feet, sizing him up for the Skull-Crushing Finale, only for Rollins to elbow his way out of his once, twice, three times and then jump to nail Miz with a stiff enziguiri. Miz falls, and Rollins scrambles to tag in Spears, who rushes in and hits Miz with a half and half suplex. He rolls on top of his opponent for the pin!
1…
2…
Miz kicks out, causing Spears to curse. He slowly stands up, picking up Miz by the hair and slapping his face. That seems to have woken him up, as he throws his own slap back. Spears in turns, throws a right fist, which he gets a receipt for. The two men start trading blows in the center of the ring until Spears steps back and clocks Miz with a two step lariat. He starts to set up a sharpshooter, but it’s broken up when Roode hits his own lariat to the back of Spears head!
Scott Stanford: One thing we’ve seen all night, Wade, is these teams that have never competed together before having to find ways to congeal into a unit.
Wade Barrett: Absolutely, that’s some heads up teamwork from Roode there, a tag team veteran in his own right.
Tully Blanchard jumps on the ring apron, yelling and complaining about Roode breaking up the submission. However, as he is taking up referee Rick Knox’s attention, Rollins slides a steal chair to Spears. Miz is just getting to his feet, when Spears is gearing up to wallop him with the chair...only for Roode to take it from him. Roode in turns swings to hit Spears with the chair, but Spear ducks out of the way, meaning that Roode levels his own partner.
Wade Barrett: Well, so much for that.
He stares at a very much out of it Miz, unsure what he’s done, but Knox finally turns around to inform Roode has to take his corner. Meanwhile Spears slides the chair out of the ring his foot and goes for the cover on Miz. Even as Roode is trying to explain, Knox sees the pin and goes into position.
1…

3!
Spears quickly exits the ring, as Roode continues to argue with referee Knox, pointing to the chair by ringside with a Miz-sized dent in it. His arguments are all unheard however, as Spear and Rollins make their way up the ramp victorious, even if they don’t exactly congratulate each other as teammates.
Wade Barrett: They started as enemies, came in as partners, leave as winners and go right back to hating each other’s guts.
Scott Stanford: That’s wrestling, folks! You know what else is wrestling? Kayla Braxton. Who you got for us Kayla?
Lita: ...that's your transition?
We cut to the Legacy Pro Media Center, with host Kayla Braxton and her guests for the segment, Sonya Deville and Ronda Rousey. Standing off slightly to the side if Dolph Ziggler, leaning against the wall and scrolling through on his phone.
Kayla Braxton: Right now I am here with the two members of one of the premiere tag teams featured tonight, Ronda Rousey and Sonya Deville! Ronda, a lot of people are saying you two are a dream team, and I have to ask, are you going to be throwing your hat into the tag division?
Ronda smirks a bit at that, looking at Sonya before leaning in to answer.
Ronda Rousey: That’s not really up to me. My main focus has been on getting myself that women’s world title, but if I were focusing on tag action? Sonya would be the first call I would make. In fact, she was the first call I made when I heard we were having a tag team showcase tonight. But, despite this dream team you might see before you, the reality is the destiny of us teaming up again is in Sonya’s hands.
Kayla Braxton: What do you say Sonya? People would love to see you two keep teaming up.
Sonya gives Ronda a bit of a look now, shakin her head.
Sonya Deville: Go ahead and make me the bad guy, huh?
She then turns to answer Kayla’s question.
Sonya Deville: The fact is, my focus right now is firmly on being the best manager I can to my clients...well, client, and tonight is simply a special one-night sort of deal. I couldn't pass up the opprtunity to tag with Ronda. But don’t read too much into it and just enjoy the show. Tomorrow morning, I am fully dedicated to Dolph’s success, first and fore--
Dolph Ziggler: Alright!
Sonya stops mid-sentence before she glances over at Dolph. Dolph looks up from his phone and smirks widely, pointing at his phone.
Dolph Ziggler: I just got a huge match on Raya! Like super huge!
Sonya sighs, rubbing the bridge of her nose.
Sonya Deville: That’s great for you, Dolph.
Dolph Ziggler: It’s someone who’s been in Marvel movies!
Sonya Deville: Just...great.
Kayla clears her throat, trying to get the reins of this by turning towards Rousey.
Kayla Braxton: It is worth asking, have you had an interaction with Alexa Bliss today? After last week’s attack…
Ronda just grins widely.
Ronda Rousey: Look. Alexa seems to be going through a rough patch. She and her partner weren’t quite in sync tonight, she took the L, but that has nothing to do with me. I’ve had my say on that. So as far as I’m concerned? It’s done. And if she wants to try to make it something again...well…
With that Ronda walks off, leaving Sonya with Dolph.
Dolph Ziggler: Oh ho ho! Look what she sent me!
He shows the phone to Sonya, who actually looks legitimately impressed.
Sonya Deville: Wow...those do look nice. Make sure you share that with me, okay Skipper?
She walks off, leaving Dolph alone with his phone as we cut back to ringside.

Winners: Spears and Rollins by Pinfall
Spears quickly exits the ring, as Roode continues to argue with referee Knox, pointing to the chair by ringside with a Miz-sized dent in it. His arguments are all unheard however, as Spear and Rollins make their way up the ramp victorious, even if they don’t exactly congratulate each other as teammates.

Scott Stanford: That’s wrestling, folks! You know what else is wrestling? Kayla Braxton. Who you got for us Kayla?
Lita: ...that's your transition?
We cut backstage to Kayla Braxton, standing by the whole Mysterio crew: Rey, Dominik, Angie, Aliyah. Everybody! It’s a Mysterio overload!
Kayla Braxton: Scott, I’m here with the Mysterio family, and I first have to ask Rey, how are you feeling coming out tonight, even if it was in a losing effort?
Rey Mysterio: Kayla, I have to be honest. To be here with my family? Mi familia? La mia famigilia? It means everything to me. So win, lose or draw, it don’t matter. I stand by with my crew, through thick and thin.
Kayla nods, turning her attention towards Dominik.
Dominik Mysterio: It’s like dad said, family means everything to us. This sport is in our blood, in our tradition, so I’m proud to be beside my father, with my family, and we are going to keep moving on, going onto the next challenge, because we know that we’ll get through it together, as a family.
Kayla Braxton: Aww, that’s nice. Aliyah, did you have anything you wanted to say.
Aliyah looks surprised to be asked, but steps forward and smiles, talking into the microphone.
Aliyah Mysterio: I mean my family already said it all. We are a unit, a group, a crew, but first and foremost, we’re family. So as long as my dad, my brother, my family is active in Legacy Pro, I plan to be here.
Kayla nods, and finally extends the microphone to Angie. Angie looks like she’s thinking of what to say, before she starts speaking.
Angie Mysterio: Family family family family. Family family family. Because our family? It’s our family.
The whole crew nods and claps, while Kayla looks a bit unnerved, looking into the camera.
Kayla Braxton: Back to you family, I mean Scott.
Deville wastes no time and shoots across the ring, measuring Kana as the Thunder Tail gets to her knees. Before she gets up all the way though Deville begins unleashing some kicks across Kana's chest. And then her back. And her arms. And shoulders. After the onslaught of kicks Deville reaches down, pulling Kana to her feet and shoving her into the corner. She takes a moment to sneer at the Capital One Arena crowd before shooting across the ring, coming back and giving Kana a stiff forearm to the head! Kana's body spins in the corner as the shot echoes across the arena. Shida screams from her corner as Deville sets up the Thunder Tail one more time. She shoots across the ring but this time Shida hits Deville with a timely placed knee to the back. This causes Deville to turn around and swing at Shida but the other Thunder Tail blocks the shot and hits Deville with one of her own. She spins around to see Kana shaking the cobwebs off in the corner. She shoots forward, going for another forearm, but Kana rolls forward, dodging the shot and rolling across the ring to tag in Shida! The fans go nuts as Hikaru Shida shoots into the ring, hitting Deville with some chops, forcing her back into the corner.
Scott Stanford: Hikaru Shida has been aching to get back into this match!
Wade Barrett: It seems Ronda Rousey wants back in just as bad!
Indeed Ronda Rousey is screaming at Shida from her corner as the Comical Ace glances her way, offering a smirk before storming back at Deville with a vicious elbow! In a split second Shida backs out of the corner, grabbing Deville's arm and yanking her forward... right into an Arawashi Driver!! The Capital One Arena explodes as Shida quickly goes for the cover.
1...
2...
Ronda Rousey breaks up the count! She storms the ring and stomps down on Shida's back just before the three count.
Scott Stanford: Hikaru Shida had the match won!
Wade Barrett: Clearly not, Stanford.
Lita: Rousey made the right move there. Otherwise this one would be over.
Before the ref can even start to force Rousey back to her corner Kana-Chan is in the ring chopping away at the Baddest Woman on the Planet! Rousey was completely blindsided as Kana sprinkles in some kicks. Meanwhile, Shida still has Deville down as she moves to her lower body, turning her over and grabbing her leg, positioning her head behind Deville's knee.
Lita: Shida is looking for the Full Metal Muffler! If she locks that in Deville may have no choice but to tap.
Shida doesn't get a good lock on the hold though because when Kana takes a step back to deliver a final blow to Rousey, whether it be a roundhouse kick or back-fist we'll never know, because when Kana steps back Rousey quickly steps forward, snatching Kana-Chan around the waist and lifting her in the air before slamming her to the mat with a passionate side-belly-to-belly suplex! Rousey roars in anger before charging forward and snatching Shida from behind just as she attempts to lock Deville in the Full Metal Muffler. Rousey roars again before lifting Shida up and dropping her with a German suplex!
Boos rain down on Deville's Devil as Rousey ignores the ref's pleas and grabs Deville, assisting her to their corner so she can officially tag in Rousey.
Scott Stanford: Deville didn't have to work very hard for that tag.
Rousey goes to advance on Shida but Kana grabs her leg. Deville is quick to intervine though as she slides out of the ring and hurries over, reaching in and grabbing Kana, dragging her to the outside as Rousey kicks her off. Deville snatches Kana by the shoulders and shoves her back into the barricade. Inside the ring Rousey kicks Shida in the ribs before mounting her and bringing the fire down on her. Shida swats away a couple of Ronda's fists though! She kicks her feet up in an attempt to lock Rousey's head but Ronda brings her arms up, blocking Shida's legs. She follows this up with a couple hard elbows down onto Shida's face.
Wade Barrett: That's one way to stop 'em.
Scott Stanford: An elbow to the face usually stops me, that's for sure!
Wade Barrett: Bloody hell, Stanford, if someone glares at you the right away that stops you in your tracks!
Shida isn't giving up though! She tries to bring her arms up again in an attempt to swat away Ronda's attack but this time Rousey is ready and snatches one of Shida's arms, quickly falling beside her and locking in an armbar variant! She immediately yanks back, putting unbelievable pressure on all the right, or wrong, places. Shida's screams fill the Capital One Arena before she quickly taps out, forcing the ref to ring the bell and award the match to Rousey and Sonya Deivlle.
Lita: She just couldn't take it anymore. Once Ronda Rousey gets you in her armbar there's no turning back.
Wade Barrett: And it looks like she isn't finished!
Rousey continues to yank back on Shida's arm, long after the final bell! Sonya Deville slides in the ring and finally gets Rousey to let go before grabbing her Devil and heading to the back.
Scott Stanford: Sonya Deville and Ronda Rousey walk out the winners tonight but there's no doubt they had to earn that one.
Lita: Yeah, Scott, I think Ronda and Sonya were surprised at the fight the Thunder Tails brought to them. Those two may enjoy dressing up and having fun but when they step in that ring they mean business!
Wade Barrett: Unfortunately tonight their business was LOSING! HAHAHAH!
We cut backstage to the locker room area where Alex Reynolds and John Silver, AKA the Beaver Boys are sitting. They look fairly deflated, just staring at the ground. Suddenly, there is a vibrating sound. They look around until they find a basic looking flip phone. Alex looks at the phone and winces, which in turn makes John wince.
John Silver: Is it him?
Alex Reynolds nods.
John Silver: You bet he’s mad?
Alex Reynolds nods again. He takes a deep breathe and flips the phone open.
Alex Reynolds: H-hey boss…
And what comes out of the phone is a fairly heavy stream of profanity, some of it rather colorul and creative. Alex holds the phone far away from his ear as the voice on the other end goes wild.
Alex Reynolds: Yeah...he’s mad.

Aliyah looks surprised to be asked, but steps forward and smiles, talking into the microphone.

The ding of the ring bell echoes through the Capital One Arena as Ronda Rousey and Hikaru Shida start this match off, circling each other slowly. Kana wastes no time in backing up her partner, slapping her hands together and stomping her foot on the apron in an attempt to garner cheers from the fans. Rousey takes a swipe in Kana's direction out of annoyance, but quickly turns back to Shida, who feigns an advancement when Rousey took her attention away.
SCOTT STANFORD: I can't help but feel Ronda Rousey and Sonya Deville aren't taking Thunder Tails very seriously.
WADE BARRETT: With all their colors and costumes I'd wager Thunder Tails may be better off in a Saturday morning cartoon rather than locking up with the best this industry has to offer here at LegacyPro.
SCOTT STANFORD: That's just it, Wade, Hikaru Shida and Asuka ARE some of the best this indus...
The sound of Barrett's gavel stops Stanford mid-sentence.
WADE BARRETT: There is no bloody Asuka, fool. Only Kana.
LITA: Are you two done? They can wear all the colorful costumes they want but at the end of the day Hikaru Shida and KANA-Chan..
Lita adds a little extra to "Kana", looking right at Stanford.
LITA: .. can battle with the best of them. I have a feeling this tag-team match tonight is going to surprise a lot of people.
Shida has started clapping with Kana now, getting a good portion of the Capital One Arena crowd to join in. Ronda is in her own corner as she turns to Deville in annoyed confusion. Deville yells at her and motions to the Thunder Tails' corner, prompting Rousey to rush across the ring in an attempted avalanche. But Shida sees it coming from a mile away and spins out of Ronda's trajectory, causing the Baddest Woman on the Planet to slam right into the corner, causing Kana to burst into laughter on the ring apron. Shida points and laughs herself, causing Rousey to go from a Seven on the anger scale to off the fucking charts! She quickly delivers a stiff elbow to Kana, knocking her off the apron, before turning back towards Shida.
Seeing the cheap shot on her partner, Shida isn't the happiest camper now either as her and Rousey both move forward and lock up. Rousey gets the better of the hold, twisting Shida's arm to the side. Hikaru Shida shuffles her feet though and is able to twist her way out of the hold, stepping on the back of Rousey's knee to get her to kneel down before quickly locking in a headlock. The people cheer the fan favorite as Shida looks pleased with her reversal. Rousey finds herself in a surprising predicament, judging by the frustrated look on her face. Or maybe that's just her air getting cut off. Either way the Rowdy One isn't keen on staying where she is so she reaches back and grabs Shida's legs before standing up with Shida on her back, still with the headlock.
LITA: Look at the strength of Ronda Rousey!
Wade Barrett: They say when your air supply is being cut off your body will go into a defense mode by releasing a surge of adrenaline. I think we're seeing that in bloody action!
Scott Stanford: I've never heard that in my life.
Wade Barrett: You've also never heard a woman orgasm but we all know that's no myth!
Scott Stanford: Jury's still out...
Lita: Look at Shida!!
Calling the attention back to the match at hand, just as Rousey is about to fall back and slam Shida to the mat the Shiri Shokunin releases the hold, pushing off Ronda's shoulders to avoid the bump. She ends up back in her corner with a smirk, Kana behind her seeming to have recovered from that elbow. Rousey slowly gets up and backs into her own corner, glaring daggers across the ring at Thunder Tails. Sonya Deville stands behind Rousey, her expression just as serious.
Deville demands the tag but Rousey just continues to glare across the ring. Shida speaks with her partner a bit before tagging her in, a cheer exploding from the Washington DC crowd as Kana enters the match. Sonya is still yelling at Ronda to tag out but Rousey now has her sights set on Kana. A dream match-up about to unfold before our eyes, Rousey can't help herself and charges Kana, but Kana-Chan spins out of the way. This time Rousey is ready for the move though and stops short, spinning and leveling Kana with a vicious clothesline! Deville cheers on the other side of the ring as Rousey quickly mounts Kana and starts raining open fists down over her. Luckily Kana is already near the ropes though and only has to reach over to force Rousey to break the hold. Not happy about it, Ronda shoots to her feet and quickly snatches Kana's ankle before she can tag in Shida, dragging the World Famous Kana to the middle of the ring. Rousey continues to take advantage of every second as she drops to the mat, securing Kana's ankle under her arm as she wrenches back on Kana's leg, trying to hyper-extend her knee. Kana screams in pain, causing Shida to storm into the ring and stomp on Rousey, breaking the hold and bringing the ire of the ref.
Ronda Rousey gets to her feet, glaring at Shida as the ref forces her back on the apron. Sonya Deville yells for the tag once again and Rousey stalks over to her. Instead of tagging though, Rousey says 'I got this' and turns back around, her eyes no focused on Kana-Chan, still on the mat clutching her knee. She begins to slowly get to her feet as Rousey stalks over to her now.
Lita: Sonya Deville clearly wants in this match. But it seems she can play just as big a roll cheering on Rousey from the outside. Ronda has been unstoppable!
The Baddest Woman on the Planet is thinking the same thing as she wraps her arms around Kana's waist, easily lifting her the rest of the way to her feet. Rousey is about to go for a German suplex but at the last minute Kana elbows her in the head. Rousey shakes it off quickly and goes for the suplex again. Again another elbow to the head from Kana, this one with a little more on it. Before Rousey can go for the suplex a third time Kana elbows her again. And again! Finally Rousey release Kana-Chan. Not expecting to be let go the Thunder Tail drops to her knees. Rousey quickly recovers though and goes to grab Kana but Kana quickly slides backwards, through Ronda's legs! The fans erupt with cheers as Rousey stumbles forward in confusion, giving Kana enough time to bounce off the ropes and come back, giving the back of Ronda's knee a basement dropkick. Rousey's feet fly out from under her. Kana pounces as soon as Rousey hits the mat and snatches Ronda's arm!
Scott Stanford: The Fujiwara armbar! Kana-Chan is going for the armbar!
Wade Barrett: That's a ballsy move to make on Ronda bloody Rousey!
After an initial howl of pain Ronda quickly channels that into anger at the armbar being used against her. She somehow fights against Kana's hold and pushes herself to her knees. Kana just yanks back on the arm harder, still with a firm grasp. Deville is yelling on the apron, begging Ronda to tag her in. Ronda howls, not sure if it's out of pain or anger, as she forces herself to her feet, lifting Kana off the mat with one arm before quickly slamming her back down, getting her to let go of the hold.
Lita: Once again Ronda Rousey bringing out that surprising strength!
Wade Barrett: It looks like she's used the last bit she had left in the tank, though.
The two women lie on the mat motionless. The ref begins the ten count but after only a count of one Rousey quickly slides over and places herself on top of Kana, bringing the ref down for the count.

Kana kicks out, pushing Rousey off of her. This time it's Ronda's turn to act quick as she grabs Kana's arm and locks in the armbar! The fans roar with disapproval as Kana immediately starts howling in pain. Ronda pulls back more but before she can really reel back Kana uses her ring awareness to get her foot on the ropes. A pretty irate Rousey takes the whole five count before letting go of the hold. She gets to her feet, breathing heavily as she glares down at Kana. Taking the opportunity, Sonya Deville once again demands Ronda tag her in. This time Rousey actually listens though as she heads over and tags in Deville.
Wade Barrett Daddy's home!
Lita: Don't say that.
Scott Stanford: Ever.

WINNERS: Ronda Rousey & Sonya Deville
We cut to elsewhere backstage, seeing Sonya Deville and Ronda Rousey enjoying a few post victory brews. They are chatting when Dolph wanders up.
Dolph Ziggler: Hey, you two just about done here? I figured we could hit up the clubs, get some nightlife in.
Ronda and Sonya give each other an exhausted look before Sonya shrugs.
Sonya Deville: Eh, what the hell, it could be fun.
Dolph Ziggler: Hell yeah!
Ronda Rousey: You two go ahead, I'll see you there.
Dolph, glued back to his phone, leads the way. As Sonya leaves, she mouths "save me" to Ronda before heading off. Ronda laughs and heads back to the locker room, a short ways away. As soon as she opens the door however, she is pegged in the face with a chair! She is downed, and soon emerging from the locker room is Alexa Bliss, picking up the chair and smashing it against Ronda's head. She then picks her up, making very direct eye contact as she sets Ronda's neck in the chair, and then rams her in the wall. At that, she hears other people approaching and bolts. Soon Sonya and Dolph find Ronda crumpled on the floor. Sonya attends to Ronda as Dolph runs off.
Dolph Ziggler: Security! WE NEED SECURTIY!
Road Warriors Memorial Final
for the Legacy Tag Team Championship
The Bar vs. House of Deliverance
Referee: Charles Robinson
The two teams take to their corners, with the opening competitors making their way to the center, namely Sheamus and WALTER standing eye to eye. Both men merely stare, daring the other to make the first move. The longer they stare, the more the crowd cheers, getting into a frenzy. They start to exchange some smack talk, Sheamus starting to sway left and right while Walter stays still as a statue. The fans start stomping their feet, and finally when Tully Blanchard yells “HIT HIM ALREADY!”, Sheamus rears back and throws a straight fist to WALTER. WALTER takes a step back, and throws his own right. Sheamus check his mouth and then throws back. But rather than repeat into forever, Walter decides to try a different tactic: catching Sheamus in a belly-to-belly suplex and throwing Sheamus all the way overhead!
Wade Barrett: GOD ABOVE! THE STRENGTH!
Scott Stanford: Folks, Sheamus is not a small man. He is 6’4”, 260, all muscle, and WALTER just suplexed him like he was a cruiserweight.
WALTER bends down to pick up Sheamus, ramming an elbow into his neck and setting him up for a second belly to belly. Sheamus fights out of this one however, using his clubbing forearms to knock WALTER off of him. Sheamus then attempts to whip his opponent, is reversed and finds himself racing across the ring. As he return, her puts his shoulder down and blocks WALTER, getting him to fall. Sheamus attempts to drop an elbow on WALTER’s sternum, but the Austrian rolls out of the way, this time catching Sheamus in a full-nelson slam. He covers!

Sheamus kicks out. WALTER picks him up by his hair, only to see Dashwood practically begging to be tagged. WALTER goes to tag her, at which point Dashwood set her foot up on the turnbuckle, which WALTER dutifully smashes Sheamus’ head into it. Dashwood in turn climbs the turnbuckle waits for Sheamus to turn around and nails him with a flying clothesline. She converts that into a pin, but just another two count.
Scott Stanford: Interesting strategy here tagging in Dashwood. I think WALTER’s size and strength was countering a lot of Sheamus’ inherent upsides, but cleary Dashwood has a plan here and we’ll see how that goes.
Lita: I think Dashwood is making the statement that she isn’t afraid of anyone on this roster.
Wade Barrett: A nice sentiment when you’re not fighting for hardware! When it comes to gold? Your pride can wait.
Dashwood sets up Sheamus in a sitting position, runs towards the ropes and then nails him with a dropkick to the back of his head. She follows that up with a standing leg drop, before going for another pin, and another two-count. She starts to grow frustrated and tags in WALTER. ]WALTER stomps into the ring and attempts to do a deadlift suplex, but Sheamus wake up enough to fight back. He rams his shoulder into WALTER’s gut, giving him the opening to down the big Austrian with a desperation clothesline. Sheamus searches the surroundings and lunges to tag in Cesaro, who jumps into action, cracking his neck to either side and running to throw a swift soccer kick to WALTER’s head! He falls on top of him for the pin!

WALTER kicks out, but Cesaro doesn’t let up. He gets WALTER at a vertical base and throws his huge European uppercuts. One, and then another, and then another, each dazing WALTER inch by inch, until Cesaro pulls his head back and jams it forward for an old-fashioned headbutt, causing Cesaro to drop WALTER with a snap DDT. He drags WALTER closer to his corner, hitting him with a standing double stomp before tagging in his partner.
Sheamus positions WALTER into the corner, and starts to hammer him with forearm after forearm after clubbing forearm. Sheamus steps back, holding his arms wide and clearly gearing up for a Brogue kick, when WALTER bursts out of the corner and absolutely turns Sheamus inside out with a gigantic spear! Both men take a moment to get to their feet, but when they do, Walter grabs Sheamus and slams him down for a golden bomb! Cover!

Sheamus kicks out, but seemingly mostly on instinct. Walter stumbles towards his corner to tag in his partner, but only in time for Sheamus to tag in Cesaro. Cesaro springboards into the ring, trying to catch Dashwood with a flying clothesline, but she ducks it, runs into the ropes and then throws a yakuza kick that catches Cesaro in the mug and floors him. Dashwood then stands by the downed body of Cesaro and does a standing moonsault, where knees both crush down into his guts. This knocks the wind out of the Cesaro, forcing him to roll out of the ring. Dashwood doesn’t let up however, running against the rope and slamming Cesaro with a suicide dive!
Scott Stanford: All these competitors are giving their all, because they know what’s on the line. They know that if they don’t do every last thing they can that it will haunt them for the rest of their lives. They are leaving it all in the ring because the first one to slow down is chum in the water.
Dashwood is quick to scoop up Cesaro and toss him back into the ring, getting ready to do some springboard variant when Sheamus prevents her by grabs her ankle. Dashwood struggles, but Sheamus holds on until Walter comes up from behind and Germans Sheamus like a rag doll. When Dashwood looks back to the ring however, she gets a fully faceful of Swiss forearm. A second later Cesaro has scooped her up and is spinning around and around with Dashwood on his shoulder, before her drops her flat on her back! Perfect for a pin!

2…
At the last possible moment, Dashwood kicks out. Cesaro shakes his head, dragging Tenille to his corner. He tags Sheamus, and then lifts Dashwood up into a powerbomb while Sheamus climbs to the top turnbuckle.
Scott Stanford: The Bar Bomb! The Bar’s Doomsday Variant Is there a more appropriate way to win the Road Warrior Memorial!
Lita: What a rush indeed.
At the exact same time that Sheamus leaps,Dashwood twists her body, throwing Cesaro forward into the turnbuckle with a hurricanrana. Sheamus lands on his feet though, turning and catching Dashwood as she turns, getting all of a Brogue Kick square on her jaw.
Wade Barrett: Cor, he just kicked that girl's head off!
Sheamus falls for the cover.

WALTER attempts to break up the pin, but is stopped by Tully Blanchard!
3!!!
As the Bar’s theme starts to play, the two men seem to collapse, having given absolutely everything in the match. They slowly get to their feet, make eye contact...and share in a congratulatory hug.
Scott Stafford: There will also be an asterisk to this first championship named Tully Blanchard, but at the end of the day, you can’t argue that the Bar haven’t fought like hell for these belts.
Lita: Two hard hitting matches in one night, against some very stiff competition. I hate to see how it ended, but it’s hard to argue with the results.
Wade Barrett: Look I don’t know what you two saw there at the end that has you so upset..
Lita: Wade…
Wade Barrett: I was watching the match! Not whatever extracurricular activity you two were tuned into! I was watching two men give their heart and soul for this sport, and earning themselves the honor to call themselves champions!
Referee Charles Robinson presents both members of the Bar with their Tag Team championships. The belts are held high as the men extend their arms to create their manifestation of the bar they say they represent. As Shawn Spears and Rhea Ripley appear from the back, we fade out on the start of what is likely to be a long night of celebration for the Horsemen. While the House of Deliverance stands on the outside, glaring at the victors.
Dolph Ziggler: Hey, you two just about done here? I figured we could hit up the clubs, get some nightlife in.
Ronda and Sonya give each other an exhausted look before Sonya shrugs.
Sonya Deville: Eh, what the hell, it could be fun.

WINNERS AND NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: The Bar Via Pinfall
